I started my business at the end of 2018 and chose to quit at the end of 2019 due to some issues. During this period, the company underwent two rounds of financing, the team and user scale expanded rapidly, there was confusion and adjustment in the business direction and strategy, and the cognition of product and operation methodology iterated. It was a very precious experience for me personally. This experience also gave me a brand-new understanding of pattern, team, partners, business, products, users, lean, etc. Of course, these are not the key points here. What I want to say is: Everyone should start a business once if they have the chance, even part-time.

Only by considering products and business from a strategic height can you find that many of the things you are doing now are actually a waste of time and life. Only by deeply considering the life and death of the product and the business model can you return to the essence to make trade-offs and do truly valuable things.

There is a saying in the field of personal growth called "Be your own CEO". Only at this height can you know what your values are, what your vision is, what your expectations are, and what your goals are, and then you will be clear where your most precious resources should be invested: how to allocate attention, how to allocate time, and how to allocate money.

I don't want to encourage people working in companies to start businesses regardless of risks. In fact, many people are not suitable for starting businesses, but only you can know whether you are suitable or not after trying. Part-time entrepreneurship is a very good way to verify whether you are suitable for starting a business or not. Moreover, part-time entrepreneurship doesn't necessarily mean finding a group of people to get together. You alone can also start a part-time business.
